The Hay Shed Hill vineyard, established in 1975, lies in the heart of the Margaret River Willyabrup Valley situated high on the gravel ridge. The Hay Shed Hill wines showcase the outstanding site characteristics of this vineyard; handcrafted wines from classic old Margaret River vines.
The wine was made from Cabernet Sauvignon grown on the Hay Shed Hill vineyard from the outstanding 2008 vintage. Fermented in the open topped vessels, matured for 18 months in French oak this wine demonstrates all the attributes of only the best Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon with deep colour, intense berry fruits on the nose and a concentrated yet elegant palate with mature complex tannin.
